Problem Statement
BSC Modification P375 will be implemented on 30th June 2022 and introduces a new role of Asset Metering Virtual Lead Party (AMVLP), to allow settlement of meters ‘behind the boundary point’. To enable this, the AMVLP will need to exchange Market Messages with other Market Participants that underpin the new process being introduced by the BSC. Some of these Market Messages are governed by the REC and require a consequential REC Change Proposal to deliver the full solution.
Proposed solution summary
- As a Consumer I want to be able to access aggregation services so that I can take full advantage of commercial opportunities for my onsite generation or demand reduction.
- As Market Participant, I need to understand any changes to Market Messages I send and receive that may impact my business, so I can engage in the change process and plan any required changes to my systems and processes.
- As an Asset Metering Virtual Lead Party, I need to be recognised as a valid Market Data Service, so that I can appoint BSC Qualified Agents and fulfil relevant metering operations and data collection activities for Asset Metering.
