Summary
The frequency of certain reports detailed in the Gas Enquiry Service (GES) Definition document are not consistent with the frequencies set out during the development of REC v3.0 and consulted on with industry stakeholders. This change seeks to align the reporting defined within the Service Definition with the originally intended timetable.

Problem Statement
The Frequency of reports set out in the Gas Enquiry Service Definition document does not currently reflect the expected frequency for the ‘Supplier Registration report (MEM)’, ‘Portfolio Data (MEM)’ and ‘Portfolio Data (MAP)’ reports. The Gas Enquiry Service Definition needs to be amended to ensure that Meter Equipment Managers (MEMs) and Meter Asset Providers (MAPs) receive reports in the correct timeframe.
Proposed solution summary
  1. As a Meter Asset Provider (MAP), I want it to be clear how and when I will receive reports relating to my portfolio, to ensure that I have the data required to operate efficiently.
  2. As a Meter Equipment Manager (MEM), I want it to be clear how and when I will receive reports relating to my portfolio, to ensure that I have the data required to operate efficiently.
  3. As the GES Service Provider, I want to have clearly and correctly defined requirements and responsibilities, to enable me to efficiently carry out my function as a REC Service Provider.

Change details

GES Service Definition Document
The current description and frequency of the 'Portfolio Data (MAP)' reporting is not correct within the REC V3.0 baselined version of the Gas Enquiry Service Definition. This Change Proposal seeks to update the document to ensure all reporting descriptions and frequencies accurately reflect the intention and agreed reporting which will be in place from CSS Go-Live Date.
The frequency and description of the Portfolio Data (MAP) reporting within the Gas Enquiry Service Definition to be updated to reflect that reporting will be provided to the relevant MAPs on a monthly basis, specifying the Registered Supplier and Metering Asset details for all Supply Meter Points where the MAP is recorded within the Central Gas Register.
