When a Committee Member’s term is ending or a vacancy arises, REC Parties are invited to nominate candidates. If there are more nominees than vacancies, an election is held. The candidate(s) with the most votes are appointed, and an induction is scheduled for the new member(s).

In the event of a mid-term resignation, the Alternate assumes the responsibilities of the resigning member until a new member is appointed. An expedited nomination and election process is initiated to fill the vacancy quickly.
