REC Parties have started to prepare for the release and implementation of R0032, during this preparation the REC Code Manager has received questions about the approved solution, specifically regarding the version of the D0312 (MM00256) Market Message (version 002 has been maintained through R0032) and the number of register digits that should be provided for specific meter types. The Code Manager has reviewed these questions and determined changes are required to the approved solution. Therefore, this Change Proposal has been raised to progress changes to the approved solution.
Parties require clarity on the solution for R0032 and the subsequent changes they will be required to make to their systems and processes. The changes required to the approved solution need to be progressed appropriately through the REC change process, giving Parties sufficient clarity and lead time for their own implementations.
This urgent change will need to be progressed to address any points of concern that have been raised and ensure there is no ambiguity regarding the Market Message requirements.
To facilitate the MHHS Programme data cleanse activity, prior to the transition to Half Hourly Settlement, Registration Service Data Items need to be introduced into the existing SMRS system and also displayed in EES. Change Proposal R0032 was taken forward to introduce these Data Items to the D0312 Market Message (MM00256) which would enable the Data Items to be received and displayed in the Electricity Enquiry Service.
