Access to ECOES and GDCC API for CSS Interface Providers
ESG are an IT provider to Energy Industry participants, including Suppliers and MEMs. We also provide a CSS adapter, and will become a CSS Interface provider when REC version 3.0 goes live. As a provider we would like to be able to use the ECOES and GDCC APIs in order to integrate access to these two vital data sources into our IT systems. At present we are unable to do this, and require a REC change to provide a suitable User Role for this purpose.
Data quality is impacted by only being able to do manual look ups to ECOES and DES.
A new user role is required to be added to the Qualification and Maintenance Schedule and Data Access Schedule. In advance of this change being implemented, it would be extremely beneficial to share technical specs and access to test environments with organisations such as ESG, so that coding can be developed in advance of REC v3.0 go live.
