Summary

Problem Statement
The Switching Service Desk generates and resolves tickets relating to Switching Incidents and Switching Data queries for Market Participants. GES and EES data is currently unavailable to the Switching Service Desk and access would allow them to resolve tickets more effectively, resulting in a more efficient service and better SLA performance.
Proposed solution summary
  1. As a Consumer, I want data relating to my energy supply to be handled appropriately, so that I can have a consistent and faultless switching experience.
  2. As the Switching Service Desk, I want to be able to access market data that lets me resolve tickets first time, so that I can provide a more efficient service to users. As the GES Provider, I want my users to be able to access information that helps them fulfil their objectives, so that the service is used as efficiently as possible. As the EES Provider, I want my users to be able to access information that helps them fulfil their objectives, so that the service is used as efficiently as possible.

Change details

DCC access to EES and GES
DCC have requested access to the Gas Enquiry Service (GES) and Electricity Enquiry Service (EES) to assist in triaging incidents. Part of the application process involves requesting access to specific GES and EES Services/Data Items. Currently, DCC do not fall into an already-agreed Enquiry Service User Category within the Data Access Matrix.
DCC are currently unable to gain access to the GES and EES without an amendment first being made to the Data Access Matrix that introduces a new category of Enquiry Service User.
A new category of Enquiry Service User needs to be added to the Data Access Matrix for DCC.
