Problem Statement
Organisations with more than one role type are required to have unique email addresses for staff who require access to multiple role types, leading to inefficiencies, unnecessary administrative burdens and a poor user experience.

Organisations with multiple role types EES and SDEP access
It is currently not possible for organisations with multiple role types (e.g. one organisation may be both a DNO and a GT, or an Energy Supplier and a MEM) to have the same person be able to access both those role types within SDEP without having 2 (or more) unique email addresses.
Organisations with multiple role types who use the same operational staff across those roles cannot have the same person be able to access both those role types within EES and SDEP without having 2 (or more) unique email addresses.
An update to EES and SDEP to allow organisations with multiple role types use the same email address as a login across those role types.
This was realised as part of REC Change R0162, which has been put on hold while this CP progresses.
As many IGTs are also IDNOs, and IGTs make up ~half of the number of GTs in the market, this is preventing R0162 being implemented in a way that would be useful for GTs.

It is recognised that SDEP cannot be used by MOAs to send details to MPRS as per MHHS guidance as they do not have access

Yes – it is required for 2 current CPs to progress and there is potentially a third CP it may hold up (I0273, it has been suggested MOAs could get SDEP access to share SSC/TPR data and many MOAs are also Energy Suppliers).
