Market-Wide Half Hourly Settlement
Provision of Registration Id Required for MHHS Appointments

Under Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) the Registration Id (DI90043 / DI849) is required by the Supply & Meter Registration Service (SMRS) to be included in the IF-031 ‘Supplier Agent Appointment Request’ Market Message to allow the SMRA to process the appointment request.

However, not all Energy Suppliers hold the Registration Id for all Meter Points, in particular Meter Points that have not undergone a Registration managed by the Central Switching Service (CSS).

REC Change Issue I0296 - Registration Id Required for MHHS Appointments was raised to discuss potential solutions to this and following this work the REC Code Manager have developed a process to provide Energy Suppliers with the Registration Id for Metering Points that have not been through a Central Switching Service (CSS) Registration Managed Switch, on request.

Any Energy Supplier wishing to receive a report of missing Registration Ids (for registrations not managed by CSS) should contact the REC Service desk via enquiries@recmanager.co.uk, to make the request and provide the Market Participant Identifiers (MPIDs) for which the report should be provided (currently report provision is limited to one report per MPID).

The requested reports will then be uploaded to the appropriate area of the REC Portal for the Energy Supplier to download and review.

Your Operational Account Manager (OAM) will be available to support with any questions or queries should you have them.
